A TIME OF REJOICING AND REJUVENATION
Dallas, Texas – Saturday, August 30, promises to provide a much-needed oasis for women parched from the hot demands of summer: kids home from school, family vacations, dirty floors, open doors, and shopping trips—with baggage. Where does one go to escape summer’s hectic hotbox? To Thelma Wells’ third annual Picnic at the Lake.
Pack your sunscreen and your favorite straw hat; add your camera and slip on your sandals; pick up your girlfriends and head out for a day of relaxation and spiritual restoration at Thelma Wells’ lake house in Bluff Dale, Texas. Guests are welcome for breakfast at 8 am, a Texas-style BBQ lunch at Noon, and refreshments served until 4 pm.
